I serve as half-time Pastor at Our Redeemer Lutheran, and half-time as Assistant to the Bishop of the BC Synod for Special Service.

Cathy and I have been married for 40+ years. We are parents to 4 adult children of whom 3 are married, and we are excitedly expecting a fifth grandchild. Cathy and I are newcomers to Penticton.

In one word, I would describe my faith journey as a pilgrimage. One of being engaged by God through baptism, my family of origin, my spouse, children, and grandchildren, community, and wider world (and the opportunities which have been given me) to see and to experience wonderful moments of grace. Glimpses of powerful, meaningful grace, in tragedy and joy, poverty and riches, sickness and health.

I am looking forward to discovering with you and our church family where God is leading, guiding, nudging us in a challenging time, but one filled with hope, possibility, and opportunity, in an adventure of learning and discovery, of gratitude and prayer, and always of grace.

“The God of all hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans15:13).
